What We Do
Integration
To us, integration means participation in both directions — understanding how Swedish society works, and becoming part of it together with others. It is not something you go through alone, but something that grows through contact, guidance and community.
Guidance in a new society
Moving to a new country means learning how everything works from the ground up — contact with authorities, healthcare centres, school, and everyday routines that others take for granted. Through conversation and practical guidance, we help make this part less overwhelming, so more people feel confident managing their everyday lives themselves.
Community as a foundation
Integration is built on real encounters between people. Our activities, such as the language café, are deliberately designed as meeting places where people from different backgrounds can naturally get to know one another — not just to practise Swedish, but to build the social connections that make a new everyday life easier.
Participation, not assimilation
We see integration as a mutual exchange rather than a one-way adjustment. The goal is for everyone — regardless of background — to be able to take part in society on their own terms, keep their identity, and still feel at home in Sweden.
