What We Do

Civic Guidance

Understanding how Swedish society is structured takes time, especially when so much is new at once. Our civic guidance offers practical, everyday support — but we are neither an authority nor legal advisers, and our guidance conversations never replace a formal decision from an authority.

Understanding authorities and public services

Through conversation and guidance, we help clarify how Swedish authorities work, what different letters and decisions mean, and how school, healthcare and other public services are structured. The goal is to increase everyday confidence, not to replace authorities’ own information or decisions.

Digital help in everyday life

Much contact with society today happens digitally. We help with basic digital skills — for example using BankID and public e-services — so more people can manage their own affairs.

Where to turn next

Guidance is often about helping people find the right place — which authority or body is responsible for a particular matter, and how to make first contact. We point people in the right direction and support them through the process, but the formal decision is always made by the relevant authority.
